The Rolling Stones had joined a package tour for the first time with 3rd billing behind the Everly Brothers and Bo Diddley.
This handbill is for the very first night of the tour. Bill Wyman recalls 29th September 1963. We rehearsed and did a soundcheck in preparation for the first night.
We met everyone and we couldn't get over having the opportunity to work with such great artists we stayed there all day. They even brought in food, we knew we were on the up.
There were two shows at 6:00pm and 8:30pm. The stage manager was Peter Grant, who later managed Led Zeppelin.
