Piers is a Devon boy, born in Totnes and educated at Rolle College in Exmouth (Plymouth University) and St. Luke's College Exeter University. 25 years ago he started auctioneering and valuing for Potbury's in Sidmouth before taking over the auction room in Exmouth almost 13 years ago. Since then the auction has flourished as a family business. "Over the years we have had the fortune of selling some unique and fascinating items from the earliest watercolours of Bermuda to a World Record Heuer "Skipperera" wristwatch and from a Rorke's Drift medal to a WWII Harley Davidson. I remember once selling Sue Lawley's Spitting Image puppet head and we sold a Louis Vuitton suitcase which belonged to the writer P.C. Wrenn, author of Beau Geste. After a phone call from the Helmand province in Afghanistan, during the war, and the subsequent sale of an 18ct gold pocket watch to a captain serving out there (bought as a present for his son's 21st birthday) little surprises me anymore!"

Boo was educated at Rolle College (Plymouth University) and has been actively involved in the auction room since the start almost 13 years ago. With two dogs and a house to run she is full time, but not always in the auction room. Always busy, her time is mostly taken up in the office organising the day to day running of the business. When not dog walking she is also available to talk about consigning paintings, prints, studio pottery and other artworks to the saleroom.

Imogen is Piers' elder sister and hopefully keeps him in order and going out to appointments on time. She has been PA to the Principal & Chief Executive of the WESC Foundation in Exeter and went on to work in a number of primary and special schools in various different administrative capacities. She was also responsible for marketing for SWALSS, and for organising many conferences and events across the South West of England for special school leaders. At the very start of the business Imogen helped us with the running of the live bidding platforms and she rejoined us over a year ago. She now has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the auction room and office and for keeping us up to date with regulations.
